what are you using for anti virus?
I have switched to Symantec End Point 11 it includes man anti spyware in it.
I install locally and tell the S/W it has a parent server because i have not had the time to build an installer package, apparently if you dont do it right it has a network firewall that blocks all sorts of stuff on ur network from getting to your machine.

I have actually been installing it without the network peice because windows firewall on vista and especially WIndpows 7 is on by default and is smart enough to not block all traffic.

well use that for your SQL application too don't waste a whole server for that.
I would install as much RAM as possible and install the free VMware server then build Virtual machines on that bitch

I’ve a hp laptop and I’m using windows xp operating system in it. Last night when I’m searching on google search engine a malware attack has happened in my computer. It attacked my google search engine. It would redirect me after a search, always, to some random crappy website that acted like a search engine. I jumped in safe mode to run malware bytes but it does’nt work. My internet does’nt work but everything else are working properly. It takes too long time to start the computer, my internet connection also not working this is the biggest problem I’m facing right now, please help me.

Make sure malware Bytes is updated, if that does not work.
Look into AVG Free, install it and run it.
also if you can try to install Microsoft Security essentials. that does a good job as well
